The Margate City Beach Patrol is dedicated to provide a safe environment for citizens when enjoying the beautiful beaches of Margate. Margate beaches are lifeguard protected Memorial Day through Labor Day. All guarded bathing beaches are open from 10am until 6pm on each day of operation. The City also offers guarded beaches past Labor Day when the weather permits. Check with Beach Patrol Headquarters as to which beaches are protected & never enter the water at an unprotected beach. Do NOT swim near or around structures in the water such as the Pier or Outfall Pipes!
