NOTICE OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING ...

To: All Interested Parties:

In accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 (Open Public Meetings Act) the Board of Commissioners of the City of Margate City will conduct on Thursday, July 16, 2026 a Workshop/Capital Meeting starting at 5:00p.m. and Regular Commission Meeting will immediately follow.  These meetings will be held in the commission chambers located at Historic City Hall, 1 S. Washington Avenue, Margate, NJ.

If a person anticipates listening through the Zoom link wishes to submit a comment on anything listed on workshop meeting agenda or any topic for regular meeting agenda, they may do so prior to 3:00p.m. on the meeting day, by emailing the City Clerk at casey_johanna@margate-nj.com. Please include in email:

Comments may be addressed during the appropriate meeting or forwarded to the appropriate department head for a response. 

The public has the option to listen only to the meeting via Zoom by linking to :  Link will be posted on day of the meetings

 

****All Zoom Participants must enter the Zoom with their name. Names such as "iPhone 1" and so on will not be accepted into the meeting. All participants must stay on mute during the meeting

An agenda will also be posted on the municipal website and will include the public hearing and adoption of ordinances, payments of bills and other resolutions.  Formal action will be taken.  

Meetings of Board of Commissioners will be conducted in this manner until farther notice.  

Live Streaming/Remote Public Comment Disclaimer:

The City of Margate offers live streaming and the option of public comment via remote access. Public who participate remotely will be muted during the Workshop and Commission Meeting except during the public comment portions of the meeting. Any person attempting to disrupt the meeting may be denied access at the discretion of the City.  In the event remote access is unavailable due to a technology malfunction, or other reason beyond the City''s control, the city will not pause or stop the live meeting. City Commission meetings are held in person and the public is welcome to attend. The best way to ensure an individual's ability to publicly comment is to attend in person so that comments may be made in the event of a technology malfunction. The City reserves the right to discontinue offering public comment via remote access at its discretion for any future meeting.
