Construction Work Hours and Restrictions
City of Margate City Chapter 192-4 (7)
Permitted construction or repairing of buildings; the erection (including excavation), demolition, alteration or repair of buildings shall be conducted during the following hours:
From September 16th to June 14th:
Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm
- Saturdays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm
From June 15th to September 15th :
Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:00 pm
- Saturdays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm
- No Pile Driving on Saturdays from 6/15 to 9/15
No construction work is permitted on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.
Demolitions of structures are prohibited beginning June 15 and ending September 15.
