How do I request to do an event in a public area?

Use of Facilities Application

1st step: contact the Chief of Police at the address or email below
for preliminary approval.

The request should include the following information:

  • The type of event 
  • The location of the event
  • The date and time of the event
  • The number of people attending
  • List all equipment to be used for the event
  • Any special requests 

If preliminary approval is granted the Chief’s office will reply with the
applications needed for the event.

Be advised: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on Margate Beaches at any time.
