The Margate City Fire Department is always available to install smoke detectors. Upon request, we also provide free smoke detectors to our residents as needed.

CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES!

Carbon Monoxide (CO) is the leading cause of accidental poisoning deaths in North America. Carbon monoxide is odorless, tasteless and invisible – it’s a silent killer. The only safe way to know if carbon monoxide is present is to install carbon monoxide detectors (alarms) on every level of your home and in sleeping areas.

NOTE: Carbon monoxide detectors must be supplied by the resident.
